To start off the New Year, APink visited 4 cities as a part of their Pink Memory Tour! I was able to attend their LA concert, which they performed in Club Nokia! (Sorry for the lack of photos, they were very strict about taking photos and videos during the concert)
It was very busy that day since there were many things happening in downtown LA and many people were constantly asking fans in line what they were waiting for and all the proud Pink Pandas were saying with much excitement APINK. I was with my best friend and she had brought her cousin and her cousin brought his friend haha. My best friend's cousin actually won Hi-Touch for the concert so he and his friend left for the venue at 4:00 PST, while my best friend and I arrived at the venue an hour later. Once we got there the line was already super long. The concert was suppose to start around 7:00 PST, but there was a slight delay. I think it was around 7:00 PST we finally reached inside of the venue and we started to get ourselves situated in a good spot. We had the VIP tickets so we were in the pit close to the stage, but not right in front. Since my best friend and I are short, it was kind of hard to see the stage, but we were fine with it since there were TVs around us and we could watch on them as well.
I think around 7:15 PST the concert started and let me say, THERE WAS A LOT OF GUYS. hahaha I mean that was highly expected since it was a kpop girl group performing. Apink started their concert with the song, "Remember" which got the crowd hyped. The girls were absolutely stunning on stage. They looked like they were having so much fun on stage because of all the energy the crowd was giving them. After that, they performed "Mr. Chu" and the fan chants were on point! They were so loud and the voices were so deep, hahaha. It was amazing, it felt like I was at a music show in Korea like Music Core or Inkigayo. They also performed "Sunday Monday," "Isn't it Amazing," "Good Morning Baby," "Secret," "U You," "No No No," "LUV," and "My My." (I'm not sure if that was the correct order but I think thats all the songs they performed) I absolutely loved all these songs that they performed, it was a great mix between their old and new songs. BUT I REALLY LOVED THE HARMONIES AND EUNJI'S VOICE. Whenever Eunji would hit those high notes in almost all the songs, it would give be goosebumps. They all sounded lovely LIVE and yes, they did sing live and it sounded just like their album. I just can't get over on how they sounded on stage, it was just incredible. BUT they didn't perform "BUBIBU," which I was looking forward too ):, but thats okay all the other songs made up for it.
Other than singing their songs, they also answered fan questions and play a game. Many of the fans asked them to show their aegyo, which made all the fanboys fall in love with them even more. They were very cute and they did have a hard time showing aegyo, they were embarrassed haha. The game they played was called, "Whats in the box?" The girls were split into the Unni and Dongsaeng teams and they had to stick their hand into a box and guess what was in it. It was hilarious watching them get scared when they put their hands into the box. For the dongsaeng team, they had boba and for the unni team, they had live squid (or was it octopus?)
Around 9:22 PST, the concert ended and everyone was very sad to see the girls leave the stage ):. But it was such a fun concert because the energy throughout the concert was great! Everyone enjoyed watching them perform and listen to their engrish (which was very cute and funny lol). I really loved the concert and I was glad that I was able to attend with great company. I would go to another APINK concert, maybe in KOREA?! I think that would be a great experience, but it would probably be impossible to get tickets because they would be sold out in seconds.
If you also attended the concert at one of the other cities, feel free to comment and share your experience! I would love to read about your opinion about the concert :)!
